A private residential farmer in Kinglake sought our expertise to protect a vital maintenance shed that houses key machinery and equipment. Recognizing the urgent need due to recent close calls with bushfires, we installed an impact sprinkler system specifically designed for the shed. The system is fed by a newly installed 25,000-litre water tank and is remotely activated via a mobile phone. Backup measures include a secondary pump connected to a nearby dam and a heat sensor that auto-activates the pump if other communication methods fail. The farm now has a comprehensive fire mitigation strategy, offering peace of mind to the client.
